| I had the same problem with my old honda and it was the starter. It could be a number of other things like a loose starter wire, spark plugs, wires, starter, etc. Check these things first and check the connections to the battery. I had a problem where my lights would come on and my car sounded like it wanted to crank and wouldn't and it was the wires. You need to replace battery wires in old cars and it only costs about $20 but if it is the starter it could cost more. The symptoms are of a bad starter too because it can act up one minute and then act fine and then do the same thing again. It could be another problem also not related to the starter like the fuel pump etc but this is RARE in hondas. Check what I wrote above. |
