I have a 90 honda Civic with 220,000 miles on it with orignal engine.. The other night it started smoking really bad within 20 seconds, then it died. No visible oil leaks anywhere... It turns over but just wont crank.. Coolant temp was normal. When you try to crank it does a spoters as it turns over... I checked the following:
1. Checked Main Injector ok
2. checked Aux Injector ok
3. checked primary coil ok
4. checked secondary coil ok
5. Checked Spark plug wires... range from 8k to 10K in resistance...
6. Checked Ingition Spark at each wire... All hot.
7. Checked Timing Chain, Okay..
8. Checked Cylinder 1,3 spark plug had fresh only on them, 2, 4 were dry but notice light coat of oil on the piston...
9 Tried to start with ingiter fluid, Nothing, no sign of ignition at all... it was like i had no spark at the spark plug...
10. Check Coolant no oil in it...
11. check oil not coolant in it..
12. Checked the Fuel Pump... It is delivering fuel... ok
