85 300ZX Squeaky Clutch Pedal

Ever since I've had my Z the clutch has squeaked; even after installing a new clutch.
I used WD-40 on the pedal rod underneath the dash and it still continues to squeak.

If anyone's ever had a squeaky clutch then you know how discomforting that can be to her "squeeak, squeeak" every time you engage/disengage the clutch!

How can I silence the clutch noise

Remove cotter pin from clutch pedal pin, coat clutch pedal pin with grease, and reassemble. When I did my clutch pedal two years ago, I used synthetic grease with moly. WD-40 is not the proper lubricant for this application--it will not last long at all.
