2002 XL Honda Odyssey code for radio

Hi there. I purchased a used Honda Odyssey a few months ago.
Well, I had the radio on while I was outside and didn't notice that the side mirror defrost button was on. Needless to say, it wasn't long before my battery was completely dead.
So I read my manual and apparently I need to punch in a 5 digit code. I didn't receive that information when I purchased it so apparently I need to find the serial code on the radio to then call Honda and get the code.

I'm trying to find out how to remove the radio so that I can get this number but I can't find anything on the 'net that will actually show me how to do this.

Is there anyone who has gone through this dilemma?

Thank you very much.

You should have received a code card with the car (about the size of a credit card) with the 5 digit code on it. If you don't have it, Honda can look up the code using the VIN of the car (assuming the radio hasn't been swapped out for some reason). If that doesn't work, then you will have to pull out the radio to get the code using the serial number of the radio. Unfortunately, I've never taken one of those radios out, so I can't help you on the details of the removal process...
