    My 2002 Ford escape is not accelerating like it should, what could it be?
    When I begin to drive my vehicle is not shifting up like it should. It will go slow for awhile, then I will put more pressure on the gas peddle and it takes a minute to go faster.

    It sounds like the clutch packs may be shot. Did you change the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles?
