    2002 Dodge Dakota 4X4 Shifting
My 2002 Dodge Dakota automatic cannot be shifted out or park with the ignition "ON" unless I apply the brakes. This is normal. However, when the ignition is off and the key removed I can shift out of park. Found this out the hard way when my granddaughter did this. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
    What is the fix?
