    2002 chevy venture won't start
    Kids ran the van out of gas, then I put gas in it , still won't start. Try starting till battery went dead can't figure out how to jump it either. Is there a fuel shut off switch . Help mom with 7 kids can't get to work

    . Remove and fully charge the battery. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. Don't try and jump the battery--there's always the risk of damaging the ECM (computer), alternator, sensors, or other parts of the electrical system.

    . Add more than a gallon of gas to the tank. It often takes more. While turning the ignition key to ON, you should hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run for 2 seconds. Then, turn the ignition switch to OFF. Repeat this process 5 more times. The fuel rail, going to the fuel injectors, needs to be fully pressurized before the engine will start. On the final try, turn the ignition switch to START.

    You will need a way to test fuel pressure to determine if the fuel pump still works.
    The in-tank fuel pump is cooled internally by the fuel flowing through it.
    If it was run without fuel, even for a short period, it is quite possible that it has been damaged and will not operate properly.

    Hello just wonding if you could help me I'm having issus with a 2002 chevy venture van. I put a fuel pump in it and an fuel regelater. And a fuel pump fuse. And not getting gas to the line from the front. I have been testing it though the line tester up front. What could it
