2002 chevy s10 zr2

My truck has got me stumped??? My stop lights stay on when my truck is off, I thought it could be a brake pedal problem but my third stop light doesnt come on (you know the one on top of the back of my cab) only the tail lights do. my hazards dont work with the stop light fuse in but when I pull the fuse the hazards work, also I dont have a problem with turn signals they work just fine also I removed the taillights and there is nothing in the stop light sockets. PLEASE HELP!!

Matt

Clean, adjust, or replace the brake light switch. Spray it with WD-40. It's located just above the brake pedal.

I read about something similar on an S10, it turned out it was the Hazard switch. The answer by Tx would be the most relevant I think but if that doesn't solve it, try the Hazard switch.
