If your car has door numbers chech if some buttons are stuck or making circuit shortage. Try to check it out or make a repairer to disconnect it. It causes the interior lights to turn on.

Your problem is likely the Lighting Control Module (LCM). Although it receives various inputs that can turn the lights on, but if any of those inputs were the problem, the LCM should "time out" and turn the lamps off automatically.
A well educated technician with the proper diagnostic scan tool can check the door status to verify the control module is "seeing" the correct inputs.
