2003 Honda Accord-can not get car out of park

I tried to engage the transmission and can not get the car out of park.

The shifter appears to be locked. The steering wheel is not locked and the car can be started.

Any suggestions?

My 2002 Honda Accord just starting doing the exact same thing yesterday. I have no idea what is wrong. Have you gotten any help with yours? If so what did you find out that could help me? thanks.
