1997 chevroley cavalier z24 rocker cover removal?

How do I remove th valve covers on my 97 cavalier z24 quad ,they seem to lift and the cam comes as well they also seen to be stuck down by the timing chain side as well

Those aren't just rocker or valve "covers". They are part of the Cam Carrier.
In order to safely remove that part, you'll have to treat it like you're replacing the timing chain.
