1996 Nissan Hardboy Idling higher than normal

Never had any real problem with the truck and still sounds and runs great but just recently it has been idling at around 1100 rpm instead of around 800. Since I have replaced the Pcv vavle but haven't driven far enough for the comp to reset if that was the cause. Thinking about cleaning out the IAC valve next, neccesary? and if so is there anything specific I need to know about cleaning it out other than just to take it off clean it up and put it back? Should I disconnect and reconnect my battery to reset the ECU to see if the PCV valve was the problem? Oxygen sensors were replaced recently as well as temp sensor, thanx.
