1995 nissan truck

I have a 1995 nissan truck xe v6 3.0 liter with auto trans. I have a problem on my ignition, I have no spark on my coil with the distributor on the engine mounted but if I remove the distributor and spin it manually I have a spark. Yes, the rotor is turning when I crank the engine. (distributor on the engine)
I replace the ignition module and still no spark. Is there some kind of sensor in cranking position that controls the ignition? I don't want to change the wrong parts again. please help thanks steven
