1995 Jeep Wrangler RPM and Oil Porblem

I was trying to drive to work this morning and my Jeep starting doing this whole acceleration/deceleration thing and started backfiring on the deceleration part. While this was happening my oil pressure would fluctuate from 0 to half on the pressure guage (don't rmember the exact psi). When I finally gave-up trying to drive it to work I noticed that the jeep would idle just fine but refused to go over 1500rpm and and the pressure gauge registered 0.

My guesses as to what the problem might be:
Bad oil pump (which is probably triggereing something in the computer?)
Bad oil sender unit (which is probably triggereing something in the computer?)
I have no clue and and no computer?

Please HELP my jeep needs to work for just one more year! Then I'm selling her or turning her into a planter.
