Remote Starter With Honda Accord

I have a 99 Honda Accord and when I had the remote starter installed (a few years ago), the person could not figure out how to get the trunk to open with the 'remote starter' pad. I have to use the controller that came with the car to open the trunk and then use the 'remote starter' controller to engage either the car starting or unlocking the doors. I'm tired of carrying two controls around !!

Can anyone tell me what I can do ?
