I had a major idling problems with my 93 honda accord. The RPM would jump from 1-4 at start up and when at a full stop it would juke back and forth. I took it to one of the best mechanics in NYC, the problem was 1. The Vaccum Control Box 2. Idle Air Control Valve and the major part 3. Replace and install the Intake Manifold Gasket. Since than my car has been so quiet that i get nervous. lol months after the job was done the car RPM jump from 1 - 2 a couple of time at a full stop. I never change the throttle body in the past....do you think that the throttle body needs to be changed.
No. However, I would clean the throttle valve, throttle body, upper and lower throttle body ports (ensure they are totally cleaned out), and hoses going to the Idle Air Control Valve.
