1991 nissan pathfinder

O.K. this is beyond us we have tried everything we can think of. After an hour of running it will start "bumping" if you turn the truck off it will not start back up for about an hour. Any ideas PLEASE

P.S. the computer says everything is running right so it is no help at all.
By "bumping" we mean it starts missing at an irregular rate. We've replaced plugs, cap, rotor,ignition module, coil, o2 sensor, thermostat.

When it doesn't want to start back up, does it get both fuel and spark?

On a Honda, if that happens, and it's getting both fuel and spark, the most probable cause is a fautly ignition switch (where you stick your key in, and turn it, to start the engine).

It does get spark and gas I will look into the ignition switch. Thank you.
