My 1991 Honda Crx Will Not Start? done everything and still no start

I own a 1991 Honda crx dx and one day while i was driving it had cut out on me. When it did it jerked once and i slowed down then when i downshifted it cut off completely! So once i towed it to the house and jacked it up i noticed that the screw inside the distributor cap holding the rotar inside on had come off. i figured it was the distributor that kept my car from starting so i bought a new one and replaced it. My car doesnt start stil but it turns it just wont start. Before when i brought it back to the house the primary injector was not firely correctly but the secondary was. After i replaced the distributor it was firing as it should. i also checked for spark both times and even did shot some brake cleaner into the injector . still no start! I dropped the exhaust out of the bottom just because i thought maybe it was clogged...still wont start! i have replaced the ecu with a 88 civic dx ecu and it just wont start for !!someone solve this for me!

if the engine turns but wont start sounds like a fuel issue. Have you tried changing the fuel filter and/or pump? I had the same issue and the fuel pump went out on me. Mine was in the actual gas tank so had to be dropped. I do not have a honda but the same principal is there.
