1990 Mazda 121 act of defiance

My little Mazda 121 that has been reliable until a couple of weeks ago conked out just as I'm about to purchase a new car. While the engine starts, it doesn't kick over so isn't going anywhere. Any ideas what it could be? Rego runs out on 9 March and all I want to do is drive it 10 minutes away to the car dealer to be traded in for a new car.

signed papers today for the purchase of a new 2009 Mazda Jazz at a price of $21,700. Did my research and found it's the best deal I could have done in the country, so I'm pleased about that.. and pick the car up either this Friday or early next week.. vroooom ))

it was the fuel pump, folks. Lube Mobile came out to the house and got it started, so the Mazda is being spruced up for sale... the baby Honda is a gorgeous car btw... very nice to drive

Well done - good decisions both on getting your car fixed and on the new car you purchased.

Your old car sounds like the perfect choice for a student or backpacker. I hope it goes to a good home.
