1985 GMC Pickup Sterring Pod Re-assembly

In chasing down a busted starter switch cam in my 1985 GMC Wrangler 1/2 ton, I had to disassemble the tilt shell to get at the part. In doing so the clam shell around the colum was partially disassembled. As usual some of the parts around the turn signal housing and tilt-stick lever dropped out onto the floor - a couple flat springs.

Now I'm trying to reassemble and having a problem figuring out where these go. As near as I can guess they are to provide some resistance and act as slides of some sort.

So does anyone have an exploded diagram to reassemble? All I have is a Haynes manual and it's somewhat lacking.

Thanks in advance
JB
