1974 ford f100

My truck will not start unless puring gas or starting fluid in the carb. I rebuilt the carb replaces all vacuum line and still nothing. it is a stock motor craft carb there are some vacuum lines that are blocked off and i can't find any diagrams for it. when i do get it started if i touch the gas pedal it just dies

. Remove all spark plugs and check each cylinder's compression.

. Ensure the mechanical fuel pump works properly.

. Ensure the spark plugs (Motorcraft or Autolite only), rotor, distributor cap, and spark plug wires have been recently replaced.

. Replace the Ignition Control Module and coil, if they have never been replaced and the problem persists.

ford f100 carb problems

I have a ford f100 with a 360 2bbl carb. I have to pour gas in the carb to get it started then when it is running it bogs out before accelerating. i changed all the plugs wires and cap, rotor. it runs a little better but not much. Like i said it will start to die when giving it gas before it picks back up to idle
