Cuba in August?

How is Cuba in August? What about the Dominican Republic?

Is it a good/bad idea to visit the country in August?

Anyone been there in August?

I haven't been to Cuba or the DR, but i've been all over the Caribbean in different months. August will be hot and probably humid. Your question doesn't really say what you want to know about going there during August, so I'm assuming weather. I'd worry more about personal safety and location than weather, however. the DR doesn't have the best reputation, and Cuba, well, I see you are in NJ, so I'm not sure how you plan on getting there.... but good luck!
