Where to go to get a Cleaning License?

I have worked for years for someone else and now want to work around my own schedule.
I want to work in the cleaning service but have no idea where to start.

Normally you start with a business license. In years have you not asked and found out who they bid, what license they needed and so on.?

If you are working in that industry you should use that time to learn how the business operates

It's possible that you might not need a license in order to clean where you will be working. You would need to talk with city or county officials about that.

http://www.cleanuptheprofit.com tells you how to start an office cleaning business. You only need a business license if the city that you are going to operate in requires one. It costs about 50 dollars. You will definetly need a price estimate chart because you have to charge by square footage, not be the job. www.cleanuptheprofit.com has one

It would also be good if the above referenced site was totally free to use and no strings attached for giving them your email address. How much a license will cost, if one is needed, does depend on where someone is wanting to do the work.
