a confusing job

my daughter seannea is 12 and she wants to start earning her own money so she wants to start her own babysitting job she is really serious about it she printed out flyers and has her friends working with her but she is concerned about the kids and the actual job and she thinks her friends wont come through when she needs them how does she start planning and by the way she is starting this summer

I think your daughter may be right. Her friends will probably lose interest after a while and she will be stuck with a lot of jobs and in this case, she wont be able to overlap if she is doing it herself. I suggest she start small and just rely on herself for the time being until she sees where it is going.

Your l2 year old having this idea opens up all kinds of learning curves for her, i.e. her own bank account, managing money, expanding a business.

The question is really, zaclife, is she mature and capable enough to carry it through at 12 where kids are just being able to stay on their own legally at 12 (here in Ontario at least).

Yes, it will be a confusing job and needs her to sit down with a piece of paper in front of her, divided down the middle with pros on one side and cons on the other to make her see how it all balances out in the longrun. This job carries a LOT of responsibility and is she up for it, is basically what I am getting at.
