Are you sure that it would be a requirement for you to be licensed and bonded to be able to do that? Is this going to be a business where you will have customers bring dogs to you at your home or building for boarding where you will have your business, or you go to someone's home and watch their dog(s) for a certain period?

It would be helpful to know exactly what you mean by "pet sitting." You may not be required to be licensed and/or bonded depending on what you mean. Thanks!

Hi I do appreciate your answering so quickly. My idea is to go out and care for peoples animals at their home. Visit/walk the animal and even stay there so not alone till the owner comes. Visiting maybe 2-3 hours twice a day? Feed/water them daily.
Did not and do not think I would want to bring animals to my house.

Just thought by being licensed and bonded would give a client added security. It will only be myself doing this. Not like anyone will go with me to their homes.

Are you an adult? I ask because that would make a difference as far as what you are going to want to do and if you were to obtain a business license or to become bonded.

You can get licensed by going to SBA: WHERE TO OBTAIN BUSINESS LICENSES. You can get your insurance and bonding at Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. or Home
