| Cleaning business ? I know of no federal, state, county, parish, city or town that requires a bond of a cleaning service, unless you happen to be either cleaning the governmental entities premises and if that's the case, the city for example might require that you have a type of fidelity bond that is commonly called in the surety/fidelity industry a "third party fidelity bond" - it simply offers some protection, very limited protection, to the owner of the premises that you are cleaning, that should an employee of yours be convicted of stealing their property or money, that the bonding company would pay you for their loss and you in turn can pay them. That's the only type of bond I have ever issued for a cleaning service. |
