I'm not a boxer myself, or any kind of expert on the subject, but being short with long arms, I'd gamble that you'd do well on the outside. Your opponent will have a heck of a time hitting you in response when you are short, and can "pop him" from a distance in your counter-punches; utilize that jab!

Yes stay to the outside if you go inside you will lose power on your punches. Now if the boxer is taller then you get inside every so often and pop him with an upper cut, but the Jab is going to be your best friend

I'm an amateur boxer. And for your type it would be way better if you become an inside fighter because if you stay on the outside you won't be able to reach him.. just slip your oppenents jab and go in with a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the chin.

Be a out-fighter as you are having a longer reach and shorter height. Usually the people of short heights are really of their feet. So I recommend out-fighting style for you and it will also be better for you in the long run. As out-fighters have longer careers.
