Is this Prickly Ash?

I am trying to figure out if I have Prickly Ash growing everywhere in my yard. i have my doubts that it is, but my husband says so. They are very thin red stems with tons of spiny thorns all up and doen them. They just started blooming white flowers. I have a serious infestation and need to get rd of them.

Here is Prickly Ash:

I'm reading that Prickly Ash has greenish-yellowish flowers.

Whatever it is I'd think one of two things:
Either a mama one nearby that's dropping seeds, or
a recent re-seeding with a bad batch of seeds that contained weed/bush/tree seeds in it?

f that does not look like what you've got, can you post a picture?

That is not what it looks like. Mine is Very bright red and the leaves grow off the stem they are not their own "branch" I do not have the ability to send a picture. They spred all the way into the woods. (We do not have any adult prickly ash around)

I bet if you take a sprig of it to a local plant store, they can ID it and give you some suggestions for how to eradicate it.

Depending on how hearty it is, a basic lawn weed killer (NOT like Roundup) that tackles clover, dandelion, etc. might tackle it.
