Hi, I'm looking for the author or title of a series. The books are about a boy who has premonitions and saves his class from a runaway crane (machine). The crane was being controlled by some evil force that is trying to kill the boy. The boy travels and I think is arrested on a bus for something that was planted on him. He uncovers a plot in the dessert that involves the constellations and a prophecy. The villains use satellites to fulfill the prophecy and he is the only one that can stop them.
