| To me this fits the old saying: "Love is blind." In the sense that even if your conscious mind sees certain things your heart will not believe it.

| to me its saying that being in love will allow you to be able to see more of a persons true colours, but also because you are in love your willing to overlook some of the darker parts of what you see.
so in essence agreeing with stringer  |
