| presentation Hi everyone!
I have a question. I have to do a presentation (only 5 minutes long) tomorrow. I need some ideas. I don't know if anyone has heard of the book Crimson Stain, but it is a non-fiction book that is an account of the only recorded Amish murder in history. The author is Jim Fisher.
To sum up, it is a local story...it happened about 9 years ago, only 3 miles from where I go to college. Jim Fisher researched the story through police sources, the Amish community here, interviews, etc. (He used to be an FBI agent and a criminal justice/polisci professor at my school.)
My instructions for my presentation are to talk about what Jim Fisher's research (i.e. it was a local story) can do for us as researchers. (This is an English 102 -- writing/research class.) I know it's kind of a stretch to find someone who's read the story, but even if you could give me ideas of what we can learn from ANY author who writes these kinds of books.
Any and all ideas will help...I only have a few short hours to prepare this. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!
