like a star my love will never die

Hello, can anyone help me find a children's book with the above phrase (or something like) as it's closing words?
I heard a children's story being read on the radio whilst I was driving, and had to pull over and bawl my eyes out (hormones!!!).
It's a story of two little characters (rabbits?) where one is trying to explain to the other what love is. And the end of the book is something about them looking up at the sky, and the older one tryng to explain .... something like even when a star goes out the light keeps on shining, the closing phrase being something like "my love, like a star, will never die".
It's only a short story for children, but it would mean more than I can say to have this book for my son. If you can help me find it I will be eternally grateful.
Thankyou,
M x

I think i'ts called The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry, at least that's what it sounds like to me. It's a really beautiful children's book in either case. You can read the complete story at this address:

I hope this is what you're looking for!
