hi, this may be a very strange question, as i am attempting to recall things from a few years ago, but here it goes:

when i was about 9 or 10 i read this book from a library, it had to do with a group of teenagers, who i think stumble upon something strange, and begin acting weird...i believe they were being posessed or controlled by a rabbit of some sort. they would get red eyes at one point as well. i think it turned them into some sort of...cult? anyways

it had a really eerie feeling to it and i have been tryying to figure out what it is called for sooo long! any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

I'm somewhat fascinated by this idea, and would like to read the book myself, but need more info from you to hunt it down.

WHEN were you 10 years old? Was it a new book then? Do you remember any character names? Location of the story--was it set in Alaska, or Anytown, USA or California--can you recall any of those details?

It ALMOST sounds like Donny Darko (from what I've found on the internet), but not quite.

Any more details you can remember would be helpful.

I also think it sounds like Donnie Darko. There is the mind-controlling rabbit from hell and I think in one scene there is fire in one of the character's eyes. There was a Donnie Darko Book about the making of the movie; maybe you saw that? Here's an article about the book with a nice drawing of the Hell Rabbit (just my name for it, I can't remember what it's called in the movie).
