Childrens Book from 80's

not sure of author of this childrens book but i was called "No Breakfast For Sammy" about a big brother that tried to take care of his little brother while his mommie was sick

anyone have any idea what the author is : It was the funniest book i ever read to my children and no i want to find it for my grandchildren IF possible
