i'm thinking of a book i read about 15 years ago. i don't remember much except a girl with very small hands , who i think, had had her head bashed in (by her father maybe) and she had been drowned in a lake and had now befriended some kids to figure this out so she could be at peace. they don't know she's dead. i think the cover had a hologram of a skull on it but it might not have. and i think the girls name was nicole. i don't know if this book would be worth reading again but i need to check it out, it has seriously been on my mind this long. i hope someone can help me.
