I am looking for a book I read in 4th grade. It is about I believe 4 children who lost their mother and lived with their father. They found their father dead one day and decided to bury him and pretend he was still alive to prevent being separated and put in foster homes. The whole book revolves around them trying to survive until the oldest child is 18 and can be legally responsible for her siblings. There is also a man who is interested in dating the oldest daughter, she is trying to decide if she should marry him for the financial gain it would give her.
