Book About the last man on earth

Hey i am after a book that is about the last man on earth, the main character in the book is a young girl on her own after a bomb goes off and she thinks she is the last person left alive than after a few weeks she sees a man walking around the town.
I never got to finish the book and would like to so if anyone can help me with the title that would be great.
I also think the title of the book starts with Z but not 100% sure.

I remember that book. It was really creepy, especially the guy. I cannot for the life of me remember the name at the moment. Grr this is going to drive me crazy!
