    How do I get my swelling to go down
    Hi, I got in a car accident sat. night and I had to go into the er and get stitches all over the inside and outside of my mouth. My question is I am really swelled up and was wondering what I can do to get the swelling to go down other that ice, and I think my cuts are already infected what can I do about the infection?

    U can mix a li'l water with hydrogen porxcide and swish it around in your mouth

    For an infection you need to get on antibiotics. Please make a doctor's appointment to make sure this is what it is.

    Peroxide, although I used to believe it would get rid of an infection in the mouth until I started nursing school, will do nothing to get rid of it.

    If you suspect infection, please see your doctor.
