A keloid will look like a scar, the skin will be a different color than the rest of your ear.

How fresh is the piercing? It could also be a bump simply caused by irritation. This kind of bump will be the same color as the rest of your ear.

Have you been playing with it a lot? Have you changed the jewelry yet?

It is recommended to not change your jewelry for about 12 weeks. If you change it before then, it could cause irritation, which could in turn cause this bump.

Hi, I've had my lip pierced now for 5 or 6 yrs now. your first mistake was using a gun, never use a gun for piercings. However, keep cleaning it and try and stay away from yeast products like beer and bread products. Wash it for about 6 weeks or so with regular mouth wash, if its a bump, it should go away. Call the place where you had it done and ask. If its not just a bump, You should probably see a doc. I'm not an expert or anythink but i have had experience with bumps behind my ear. Just my sujestion.
