Has anyone ever peirced their own lip?

Im gonna peirce my lip. I got all the steriliztion info I know how to clean the needle and the peircing inside and out. I just wanna know any tips or techniques to help the needle through and such.

(A pierced lip will really mess up your kissing technique later--and also job hunting. Think about this a bit more.)
