Do snake bite piercing hurt?

Hey does a boy look good with snake bites on both sides my brother is considering it but he wants opinions before he gets them though

I was bit wy a rattle snake 7 days ago. I am at home. I am having pain in the bitten leg, finding it gets worse as the day goes on. I am walking on the leg. I am also very tired from the bite. What can I expect in terms of recovering- symptons going away, recovery times??
