Cartiliage piercing again

Hey, ive had my cartiliage pierced twice about 4 days ago, on the helix and industrial area one under the other.

its been generally fine, but there is a thick black crust around the holes. ive been removing it when cleaning but when i do so bleeding resumes, not heavy, but a tiny bit around the holes which then eventaully dries again.

what im thinking is that because this is actually dried blood therefore forming a scab, should i be removing it, because its just slowing down the process by making it bleed more, and its not the "crusties" described, which form from the sapping liquid etc.

im thinking of leaving them, except the bits that literally come off themselves when cleaning, for the next week or so

what do you think?
