Cartilage Piercing

I got a third lobe and a Cartilage Piercing done on both ears a few days ago and they didn't hurt at all during or after the piercing unless I touched them or they were hit directly. They told me that my right ear would hurt a little more because it's my dominant side, but I was a little worried when my right cartilage started to hurt a lot more then when I just touched it. As I speak my right cartilage piercing is hurting like none other and I haven't even touched it.
I also noticed that the top of my ear has swollen a lot and it's really hard to move the earing. It looks like I'm having a blood clot or something next to the cartilage.

My question is, is my ear infected or did they pierce my ear in a bad spot and now I'm having blood clot or am I just freaking out?

I got it pierced by a gun with 14k studs plus I've been cleaning them correctly. My other three piercings are fine, so why is this one hurting so bad?

I dont exactly know what you mean by blood clot. Do you have a scab caused by bleeding? Or are clots actually coming out of the piercing?

At any rate, if you want a cartilage piercing done correctly, you need to get it done with a needle. Whether it is done with a gun or a needle, pain and swelling are normal. You caused injury to your body so these reactions are normal, however the blood clot, or whatever it is (I need a better description) is not.

I thinks it's just infected. I looked around at other people's cartilage issues and it's pretty similar.

Swollen and full of pain. It doesn't look weird other then that. No or bleeding...

What should I do to take care of it?

If you have even the slightest idea that you have an infection, you need to go to the doctor and get antibiotics. Signs of infection are severe redness, severe swelling, and/or a greenish or yellowish discharge that doesnt smell good. If you have any of those, go to the doctor. Now when I say severe I mean more red and swollen than when you got it pierced.
