| The problem is that the piercing was done with a gun and that causes unnecessary tissue trauma, which is why, I'm guessing, your ear is all swollen and bloody. I would suggest taking some tylenol or aspirin to reduce swelling, removing the stud, cleaning the wound, and letting it heal, and then going to a professional studio (NOT a mall piercing place with the guns because of A) the tissue trauma issue and B) the guns have parts that can't be autoclaved (sterilized) and can possibly spread disease).
The gun sometimes has no adverse side effects/problems, but this is usually the problem when you get a gun piercing and it acts like this, because if you've been cleaning it and it's not very old, I doubt it's infected due to any fault of yours.
