Cartilage Piercing

I got a third lob and a Cartilage Piercing done on both ears a few days ago and they didn't hurt at all during or after the piercing unless I touched them or they were hit directly. They told me that my right ear would hurt a little more because it's my dominant side, but I was a little worried when my right cartilage started to hurt a lot more then when I just touched it. As I speak my right cartilage piercing is hurting like none other and I haven't even touched it.
I also noticed that the top of my ear has swollen a lot and it's really hard to move the earing. It looks like I'm having a blood clot or something next to the cartilage.

My question is, is my ear infected or did they pierce my ear in a bad spot and now I;m having blood clot?

I got it pierced by a gun with 14k studs plus I've been cleaning them correctly. My other three piercings are fine, so why is this one hurting so bad?

The problem is that the piercing was done with a gun and that causes unnecessary tissue trauma, which is why, I'm guessing, your ear is all swollen and bloody. I would suggest taking some tylenol or aspirin to reduce swelling, removing the stud, cleaning the wound, and letting it heal, and then going to a professional studio (NOT a mall piercing place with the guns because of A) the tissue trauma issue and B) the guns have parts that can't be autoclaved (sterilized) and can possibly spread disease).

The gun sometimes has no adverse side effects/problems, but this is usually the problem when you get a gun piercing and it acts like this, because if you've been cleaning it and it's not very old, I doubt it's infected due to any fault of yours.

Sorry about your suffering, I know how much it hurts when a piercing is all sore.
