im not really sure about body art...because im scared of needles...but i want one...hes said if i get on get on big ..nothing small because they suppose to be addictive and all..if i put one in a place like my shoulder...like my name or something..it wouldnt be enough i guess for him...so what i need to do cause i know i want one but im scared and that the fact he wont like it

Tattoos are forever. Do not get a tattoo that you dont want, and you sure as heck should not get a tattoo for someone else. You have to live with the tattoo, your boyfriend doesnt.

If you want something small, or you want your name, that is your business and no one else's. If you get something that HE likes, YOU may not like it in the future, and may regret ever getting it.

Tattoos should be meaningful. Pick a tattoo that means something to you personally, not one that means something to someone else. If your boyfriend is that into tattoos, tell him to go get one. You are not his personal canvas.

You can pick one out together and get the smallest size he will agree to.
There are tattoo sites on the internet that you can look through ideas
or you can go to a tattoo parlor and look through their books.
Or you can design one yourself.

Or you can tell him forget it
or just get one you are happy with.
Maybe a small one and tell him you wanted to try a smaller one before committing to a big one.
