i had my belly pierced for like a 2 months and little by little it was rejecting i think. when i first got it pierced i was bending over alot like when i would be sitting down i would bend over to get something or in the car i would reach down to get something so maybe it kinda got pushed out cus of that?? well theres barely skin there to hold it and im thinking maybe i should take it out and wait to dec to get it pierced again. only thing is i dont know if its infected or not. and i dont know if my mom will take me to get it pierced again. does anyone know what i should do or have any advice??? thnx cuz i really need to know information about it cuz right now i really dont have a clue

I don't know much about these things. I would suggest calling the shop that you got it done at??? They can give you some good advice..

When a piercing rejects, most of the time it will reject again if you get it re-pierced. Sometimes there are just certain areas on your body that dont want a piercing there. I've never had a piercing reject, but I have seen other people's piercings reject and when they try again, it rejects again (usually).

Now your belly button is a very sensitive area to get pierced and the slightest thing can cause irritation or infection. Bending (like you say you did), shirts getting caught on it, bacteria (there are lots of bacteria in this area), certain metals...I mean a lot of things can cause this piercing to get "angry". Now if your mom wont let you get it again, just let it be. If she will, then try one more time and if it rejects again you know its not meant to be.

the same thing happened to me!! ive just had to take mine out because there was hardly any skin left it just seemed pointless.

mine got infected to so i thought its better to take it out.
i took it out last nyt and its already closed up!!

i have been told not to get it pierced again for another year!!
its left a horrible scar but on saturday im going to get my lowere part of my belly button pierced

maybe in a year il go get the top done again.
ive had my eyebrow pierced before and nothing went wrong, maybe i should have listened to my piercer and not took it out early and not played with it!! if you dont do them and you keep it clean it should reject!
