I'm gonna pierce my belly button soon and i'm gonna do it with my best friend (who lives in a different city-- im gonna do it when i go visit her) anyways, she says that she doesnt know any good piercing studios.. this might sound like a really stupid question but is it ok to pierce your belly button at a hospital? or should i wait until i travel this summer and go to a real piercing studio? heeeelp!!

Hospitals, at least in my area of the world, don't do piercings. So you need to go to a professional studio that is clean and has trained staff. You run the risk of getting diseases such as hepatitis, which is uncurable and can be deadly, if you get pierced with an infected needle.

but where i'm from hospitals do do piercings im not sure if they're professionals but my family tell me its safer to do it at a hospital and my friends say the same things but i think i should go to a pro cuz im not sure if the ppl at the hospitals are pros (even though its one of the best hospitals where my bff's from) dunno

i think it's ok doing it at a hospital. i have 8 piercings on my ear, and i did it there.
and i'm getting my belly button done 2 :]

yeah i have 6 piercings in my ears donw at the hospital but i dont know if a hospital is ok for body piercings..
