Is my belly button infected?

I got my belly button pierced 3 weeks ago and i think it is infected. It was doing pretty good healing until i went in the pool the other day. Its really red in between the top hole and button hole of the piercing. Its also really sore and puss is coming out of it.

Yes, I'd say it's infected. Weren't you advised to stay out of pools for at least 6 weeks?

No, i was stupid and let my friends pierce it for me so i wasnt really told how im supposed to take care of it.
