Is my belly button infected?

I got my belly button pierced 4 months ago,and when I got it done I was told to keep it in for 30 days. I took good care of it and changed it about 4 times.there has always been like dead skin coming out of it and puss coming out of it. Lastnight I had it out for like 10 minutes to clean it and I couldn't get it back in. It was bleeding a little bit. I could put a sewing needle through the hole but not a belly button ring.and this morning I can't put anything through it. Buti can still see both of the holes. And in between the top&bottom hole it feels like there is something hard in my skin,and I think that is what is keeping it from going though. PLEASE HELP ME.
Hw long should I wait to get it repierced?
And was it infected?

Maybe the top and bottom hasn't closed but the inside has.. And maybe it was bleeding cause you tired to put it back in and it wouldn't go threw.. I don't think it was infected or anything, it probably just closed quickly on the inside.. Because that's what happened with my lipring.. If you want to get it repierced, just wait 2 weeks.
