1950 Crosby

I bought a 1950 Crosby outboard with a 40 HP Evirudge engine several years ago. ( It was from an estate and had not been run in 10 plus years) I put it into storage and just got it out today.

I can't find out much about it, except that the company went out of business along time ago.

I am trying to find out what the orginal colors were on the boat, ( too faded now to tell what was orginal or what may have been a repaint)

Also I am assuming the engine will take a oil / gas mix, and does anyone know the ratio for this size outboard.
